We are Pan Dulce - six people who love making music and putting on a great show. We are all bakers in this band, giving us a blend of diverse sounds and styles. Our music is probably best described as “rock,” but with influences from reggae, funk, punk,
ska, and blues - a sweet variety. That’s what Pan Dulce is, but you’ll only truly know if you come check us out!
Lead Vocals, Piano, & Melodica
For me, the act of singing embodies emotions from the past and present. I was born in Veracruz, Mexico and lived part of childhood there. I began playing the keyboard when I was thirteenth years old and picked up the melodica, my favorite key instrument,
more recently. I’m really inspired to sing and share the love. Speaking spanish and having Mexican roots gives me a lot to work with lyrically and musically. Being part of Pan Dulce is art, and I get to connect with the people watching
us play regardless of the language we speak. Bands and singers like, Carla Morrison, Lana Del Rey, and Radiohead are great inspirations to me. Variety comes attached to Pan Dulce. Each of us has a different musical and ethnic background,
so we like to include all the Pan. Thank you for all the love.
Trombone & Backup Vocals
Alejandro began calling himself a musician at a very young age but it wasn't until he picked up the trombone that other people started to agree with him… Over the years his trombone began to develop rich somber melodies as he played with different local
Jazz, Ska, and Rock bands. However, it was when he met the members of what would later become the band Pan Dulce that those melodies truly found their home.
Guitar, Hand Percussion, & Piano
Chris is a student of music in various forms. You might find him playing in a classical performance, or building a stage for a music festival, or mixing tracks for a badass rock group. Pan Dulce allows him to bring together this variety for some sweet
While Adam’s origins have always been shrouded in mystery, some say he was sent to our realm on a dark and stormy night when a bolt of lightning landed him, guitar in hand, at the top of Fremont Peak. Destined to rock the lands surrounding the mountain,
Adam searched far and wide for a band of musicians worthy of joining his quest. After a series of epic and harrowing adventures with Los Jatos and a few other local bands, he finally happened upon the secret recipe for a sweet variety
of music with Pan Dulce!
I have had the pleasure of playing bass for a few bands that have covered a broad range of styles. Stealing the odd tidbit from each of these experiences, what you hear from my bass playing is a culmination of these gathered musical nuances. I believe
I have developed a deep, expressive tone that radiates into the floorboards of any venue we make our way through. I hope you enjoy our music and show Pan Dulce some love by dancing with us at our next show!
Ryan has been playing drums for 12 years. He is a mechanical engineer by day, but dreams of rock-stardom by night. He mostly listens to and is influenced by progressive metal. His philosophy is that drums should elevate the overall song, and of course
provide a badass riff from time to time. He tries to bring energy to every song, and wants people to get up on their damn feet!
